Julie Gouda, MD, - Executive Director

Dr. Gouda, a Physician and Cardiologist from Cairo, Egypt, earned her medical degree and master's in Internal Medicine locally. Additionally, Fellowship trained at Walter Reed Hospital, Washington, DC, she previously oversaw 6-8 nursing home facilities, managing an average staff of 50 to 75. Passionate about research, she gained extensive experience as a research coordinator at Children’s Mercy Hospital and KU Med, School of Allied Health, where she also served as a professor of Cardiology in the Physical Therapy department. Coming from a military family, her late Father, a Major General in the Egyptian Military, Dr. Gouda served for 15 years, attaining the rank of Colonel.
